What is the difference between this and your original ceremony?

Answer

We consider our first ceremony (with just our immediate families in Ryan's parents' backyard) to be the beginning of our marriage. We consider this Sept 24, 2022 party to be our wedding. All that to say, there will still be a ceremony at this celebration - think bride waking down an aisle, bridal party, vows, everything - but it will likely have a slightly different flavor given that we have done a mini-version of it before! We are choosing to see ourselves as lucky that we get to have TWO ceremonies rather than disappointed that we didn't get to do this two years ago.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

There is a parking lot at the venue, so if you are driving from home or your local lodging, you should be able to park right at the venue. That being said, it is not a huge parking lot, so the more you can carpool the better! Ask us directly if you have questions about this. You can also take an Uber or Lyft from town and in that case, they'll just drop you off!

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be in the amphitheater which is a very short walk down a dirt path from the main lodge. The reception will be mostly outdoor but with some indoor options at the lodge. Dancing will be indoor and outdoor.

Are kids included?

Answer

Yes! We would love for you to bring your kids to the whole weekend! We are working on getting a babysitter as well who will be available for a number of hours on the night of the wedding.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is RSVP only, so we will most likely only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. You’re welcome to reach out if you want to inquire about bringing someone!
