Spanish Point Beach
Right outside your hotel door! Great for a walk, some fresh sea air, or even a chilly dip if you're feeling brave.
Cliffs of Moher
A must see! These iconic sea cliffs offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic and are just under 30 minutes from Spanish Point!
Lahinch
Voted one of the most stunning seaside towns in Ireland, Lahinch is a charming surf town about 15 minutes away from the Armada Hotel. Here you will find beautiful beaches, cozy cafes, lively pubs and even a round of golf if you're up for it. Surf lessons and rentals are available too!
Doolin
A charming seaside village known for traditional Irish music, colorful buildings, cozy pubs and ferry access to the Aran Islands. It is a great place to grab lunch, explore a craft shop, or catch live music in the evening.
The Burren
A bit further north (roughly 30 minutes from the hotel), this unique limestone landscape offers hiking, caves, and ancient ruins. It's like stepping onto another planet!

Miltown Malbay
Pop in to a local pub for a pint and live music. Miltown Malbay is especially well known for traditional Irish music.
Kilkee Cliff Walk
Less crowded than the Cliffs of Moher but just a spectacular. Enjoy a peaceful coastal walk with panoramic ocean views.
Loop Head Lighthouse
For a quieter but equally stunning coastal experience, drive out to Loop Head lighthouse. You'll pass dramatic cliffs, ocean views, and maybe even spot some dolphins!
Aran Islands
Catch a ferry from Doolin to explore Inis Oírr, Inis Meáin, or Inis Mór- each island offers history, stunning views and a slower pace of life.
Kerry
Take a 20 minute ferry ride (Killimer/ Tarbert Ferry) to the best county of them all and the home of the Buckley family.
