Anna met Ryan Griffin on Halloween 2022. Anna was dressed in a 1950’s pink poodle skirt & pink wig. Ryan was dressed as Macho Man Randy Savage. It was love at first sight! Halloween is always a special day for them now! Anna is 28 years old and the eldest daughter to Kay Rogers and Matt Hartley. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona and moved to North Carolina after finishing high school. She loves animals and has enjoyed living with her mother on a small farm in Troy, NC. Anna currently works at Autumn Care nursing home as a part-time housekeeper. Her sweet and bubbly personality brings joy to the residents there.
Ryan Griffin
Groom
Ryan is 37 years old and was born to parents Patricia Bean and David Griffin. He joined the army in 2006 and did basic training at Fort Benning in Georgia. He was stationed at Fort Riley in Kansas and was part of the First Infantry Division. He did two tours in Iraq and his first tour he did alongside his brother, James, in Baghdad. Ryan currently works at Jordan Lumber as a machinist, which is a highly coveted and prestigious position within the mill. When asked what to put in his bio, he stated: “I am single handedly the luckiest man on this earth. I live each and every day being extremely thankful for having been given this once in a lifetime opportunity to share my love with the sweetest and most caring person in the world. I can't wait to make never-ending memories with my Anna Banana.”
Tristana Thames-Buckner

Tristana and Anna have been friends since high school, and she traveled from Arizona to be a part of Anna’s special day! Tristana is a barista at Starbucks and is married to Chad Buckner.
Abigail Cloninger
Maid of Honor
Abigail has been friends with Anna since 2019. She can be formally credited for introducing Anna to Ryan on that fateful Halloween night at Coyote Joes! She lives in Troy and works as an EMT-B for Firsthealth of the Carolina's. She is also currently in paramedic school!
James Griffin
Best Man
James is Ryan’s brother and has been his best friend and supporter his entire life. They both were in the Army infantry division and toured Baghdad together. James is married to Jodie Griffin and they have two children, Jimmy and Layla. Jimmy and Anna’s brother, John, attended high school together and have been good friends long before Anna and Ryan met!
Lucas Williams
Groomsman
Lucas and Ryan have been neighbors for several years. Ryan jokes that they could have been friends earlier if he would have just waved back to Lucas! Lucas is married to Amanda Williams and they have a beautiful daughter, Lorelie, who is the flower girl for the wedding.
