8 years ago, two studious college kids were studying for finals at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA. A mutual friend had secured one of the coveted study rooms on the fourth floor of the cal poly library. While Andrea was thinking only of her studies Ryan wanted to test more than his physics knowledge and wanted to put flirting 101 to the test. Ryan asked Andrea: "Do you want to listen to the same song as me?" Andrea said yes and on a 3, 2, 1 countdown they both played Sunset Lover by Petit Biscuit. Andrea and Ryan started dating shortly after and have been together for 2 years in college, 3.5 years of long distance (Andrea in Newport Beach and Ryan in SLO), half a year in San Diego living separately, and 2 years living together in San Diego.
