Miraflores or Barrancos. Both districts are very cute, safe, and offer a wide variety of food and attractions. Details for specific places found in the "Flights & Lodging" section.
Wear something light and airy + dressy. February in Peru is Summer, so keep that in mind.
We will be organizing a shuttle to take guests to & from our venue. Otherwise, Uber is a great choice! Casona Clark is the name of the venue, and it is about 20-25 minutes from Miraflores, Lima.
We recommend getting a taxi inside the Airport. Uber is not allowed at the Airport. It takes about 45min-1Hour drive from the Airport to Miraflores (depending on traffic).
The currency of Peru is the Sol. Most places will accept card, but it's very good to have cash/coins handy for tips, street food, etc. The best places to exchange your USD once in Peru are Banks, Exchange Stores (Cambios). In Miraflores specifically, there are verified Money Vendors walking around who can exchange for you on the spot. They are usually near Banks and wearing vests and carrying money in hand. We usually try to have about 150$ USD for walking around money until we need more.
