Is the Ceremony and Reception at the same venue?

Yes. The entire celebration will be hosted at The Shores of Turtle Creek 7908 Winn Rd, Spring Grove, IL 60081

Where is Spring Grove, Illinois?

Answer

Spring Grove is a village in McHenry County about 10 minutes south of the Wisconsin border. For guests who are flying in, travel time is approximately 60 minutes from O'Hare and 90 minutes from Midway. (pending time of day)

Do we really have to wear black?

Answer

Yes. Absolutely. We implore our guests to dress in formal black attire. Halloween costumes acceptable.

Are there any lodging options?

Answer

Yes! We've reserved a block of rooms at the McHenry Hampton Inn, located about 15 minutes away from the venue. Please visit the Hotel tab of this website for more information. Book your room now before they sell out!

Is there a shuttle to & from the hotel?

Answer

Yes. There is a shuttle that will transport guests to and from the Hampton Inn. The shuttle will make multiple trips at various times. Exact shuttle times TBD approximately two weeks before the wedding.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes. There is a considerable amount of parking at The Shores of Turtle Creek. Be smart! Please make accommodations to avoid drunk driving!

Question

Somone in my party has wild dietary restrictions, will that be a problem?

Answer

Not at all. As long as the dietary restrictions are mentioned up front, at time of RSVP, we are happy to make accommodations for our guests.

Are Children allowed?

Answer

Yes. Although this will feel like an adult only affair, you are welcome to bring your children. We respectfully request that no children under the age of 3 attend.

Is there an After Party?

Answer

Officially, there are no plans for an after party. Should one pop up at the hotel during after-hours, then by all means party on!
