FAQs

Question

What airport do I fly in to?

Answer

Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). Cabo offers direct flights to most major cities in the US. Unfortunately, as of June 2018, there are no direct flights from Florida to Cabo. Also, don’t forget to check your passports and make sure they aren’t expired, or expiring within six months! Seriously, you won’t be able to travel if this is the case.

Question

How do I pay for all of this?

Answer

We have partnered with Destination Weddings for all our guests to book through. Destination Weddings offers an “EZ Payment Plan” for those of you who don’t want to pay for everything all at once. The payment plan is interest free! Let Kare, our travel agent, know that you would like to be on the easy payment plan when making the reservation.

Question

What happens if I don’t book my room by January 4, 2019?

Answer

You can still book through Destination Weddings. However, our room block, and discounted room rates will have expired and you will have to pay the normal hotel rates. Please be cognizant that this is during Spring Break, so rates will be higher than average. We recommend booking your room far in advance to take advantage of the payment plan.

Question

How do I book transportation to and from the hotel?

Answer

If you book through our wedding website, your room rate includes direct transportation to and from the resort. Kare has informed us that when guests book their flights, to provide her with the details and she will schedule the transportation. Guests are provided with transfer vouchers about two weeks before arrival.

Question

When should I book my flight?

Answer

International travel is tricky, and there is no real formula, although some websites have suggested 45-60 days beforehand. However, March is peak season for Cabo and we would suggest looking six months beforehand. If you see a great price, book it. Also, you could always check the app “Hopper” or other related apps/websites to see suggested buy/wait decisions.

Question

What is really included in “All Inclusive”?

Answer

Meals, unlimited drinks, resort activities and entertainment, resort taxes, service fees, gratuities, and also shared round trip transportation from the Los Cabos international Airport (SJD) to the resort. Guest will also receive $200 in Resort Coupons per room.
