We met at Pitt through a mutual friend in 2006. Over the course of the next few years, we hung out a handful of times here and there, and even went on a lunch date (that Alecia didn’t realize was a date). Ryan eventually moved to Bermuda and Alecia moved to Atlanta, and we fell out of touch until 2018 when Ryan texted Alecia asking for Atlanta restaurant recommendations for an upcoming business trip. After texting back and forth, we went on a date back in Pittsburgh after Thanksgiving and knew pretty soon afterward that this was something special. We dated long distance for 9 months before Ryan moved to Atlanta, and the rest is history!

We both grew up in Pittsburgh and it will always be our home. Alecia grew up in the North Hills and Ryan in Bethel Park. Though we’ve both lived in other places since our glory days at Pitt, the steel city remains a source of pride for us and we can’t wait to share it with you!
