FAQs

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

We'll be celebrating in beautiful La Jolla, CA. The ceremony will be outdoors on grass, and we’ll be sharing the exact location details with our guests as the date approaches.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive before 6:15 PM. The ceremony will begin right at 6:30 PM, and out of respect for the moment, anyone arriving late will be asked to wait until it concludes to join us.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We’re encouraging summer cocktail or semi-formal attire—whatever feels good and makes you feel ready to celebrate. Soft, beachy tones like green, blue, tan, or yellow are especially welcome. Since the ceremony takes place on grass, we suggest shoes that are comfortable and lawn-friendly.

Question

What is the best airport to fly into?

Answer

San Diego International Airport (SAN) is the closest—just about a 20-minute drive from La Jolla.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve put together a dedicated tab on the site with hotel and flight recommendations, plus a few fun local things to do while you’re in town. Feel free to check it out for ideas and travel tips!

Question

Will there be anything else happening before or after the wedding?

Answer

Possibly! We’re hoping to plan a small casual get-together either the evening before or the day after. We’ll share more details here once we know more.

Question

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’d love for everyone to be fully present, so we’re asking guests to keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony. There will be a special moment when we invite everyone to take a photo—until then, we appreciate you unplugging with us.

Question

What if I'm attending with a little one?

Answer

If you're bringing a child, we kindly ask that you're mindful of any noise during the ceremony. If needed, feel free to quietly step away—we’ll all understand, and we’re so grateful for your thoughtfulness.

Question

What if I can’t make it?

Answer

We completely understand if you’re unable to attend this intimate gathering. We’re also planning a bigger celebration in Fall 2026, and we'd love to celebrate with you then!
