We’re getting married!

On a summer Friday night, Vicky went out to the rodeo with some of her friends. There was a guy named Ryan who walked up to her and asked her to dance. All she remembers is thinking how she's having the best time of her life as he spun her around and around. He asked her out on a date few days later, and the rest is history.

We road-tripped to Yosemite National Park on a family camping vacation at the end of summer. One early morning we decided to wait second in line and score wilderness permits. The following day, we were backpacking to Half Dome. We overnighted at Little Yosemite Valley, but were back up before sunrise to beat the crowds to the cables. Once at the top, an overwhelming feeling of accomplishment hit us. Tears filled my eyes. Ryan wanted to take a picture of us. He set up the camera and ran back to me, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him on top of Half Dome. Tears rolled down my face and I said YES to the man of my dreams on top of the world. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Cancun!

This date holds a special place in our hearts. It will be our 4 year dating anniversary and we would love for you to join us in celebration of our love in Cancun Mexico. We know that everyone will not be able to make it. However, we will hold a party back home to celebrate with all our friends and family that weren't able to attend in Mexico. The resort that we have chosen to stay at and have our special wedding ceremony and reception is Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa. You and your family are welcome to stay however long you want at the same resort with us, we truly don't mind and know that we will have the best time with our family and friends. But if you don't feel like staying at the same resort and another place is calling your name, then that is totally okay with us, just let us know where you are staying and how many of you are attending the wedding. We will get the wedding day passes prepared for the ones that are staying outside of the resort. As for booking your rooms, we did hire a travel agent to help us and our guests with booking their stay.
