Niki and Ryan met in April of 2013 while Ryan was visiting Niki's college roommate (hi Paige!). Soon after that visit, Niki got the courage and asked Paige for Ryan's number and sent him a text. After seeing each other one more time a few months later Ryan asked Niki to be his girlfriend. With only the slight problem of Niki residing in Columbus, Ohio and Ryan in Baltimore, Maryland. So ensued six years of flights and long drives to see each other. In 2019, they finally moved in together and lived in the same state (& 500 square foot apartment). The past five years California has been home! In July of 2022, on one of Niki's favorite hikes along the beach under the Golden Gate Bridge, Ryan asked her to marry him to which Niki replied, "I knew it!!"
