We met on the first day of cross country preseason our freshman year at Etown College. We quickly became close friends, and after years of being friends and our families secretly thinking we were going to be together, we started to develop stronger feelings for each other our senior year. We had our first kiss at the end of our fall semester, and the rest is history.

Ryan proposed on our first full day of vacation back at our favorite place, Saint John, USVI. We headed to Cinnamon Bay Beach early in the morning to take “Christmas photos” and after taking several photos, Ryan got down on one knee and proposed right there in the sand.
