What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual. No jeans please, but no need for black tie either. The bridesmaids will be wearing green dresses, if you don't wish to match with them.

Is the venue outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting), but the reception and dinner will be indoors. While there is no air conditioning, the hill-top location, shady trees, and thick stone walls work to keep The Cloisters cool in hot weather.

Is the venue accessible?

Answer

Yes, The Cloisters is wheelchair accessible. Please let us know if you will need to use a wheelchair or otherwise handicapped-accessible entrance and bathroom and we will give you further information.

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

The Cloisters is a historic site owned by Baltimore City and there is no smoking inside the building. Outdoors, smoking is allowed under the portico to the east of the main entrance. We ask that you properly dispose of cigarette butts and cigar stubs in the receptacles provided. Smoking is prohibited elsewhere on the grounds.

Do we need to pre-select our meals?

Answer

No, the dinner will be buffet-style and you will select your choices day of.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP on this website under the tab for "RSVP" no later than April 3rd. You may also contact Maggie or Ryan to confirm your attendance or send your regrets.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We do not have a traditional registry. Instead, we are asking for contributions to our honeymoon fund for our trip to Japan. You can buy us tickets to a sumo wrestling match or a tour of famous sites on our "Registry" tab. If you wish to give cash or a check instead, there will be a designated spot at the venue to place your gift.
