Mass Audubon Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary
For birders: a MUST. Extensive trails through the salt marsh, a sandy barrier beach, and pine woodlands, each attracting a wide array of wildlife. A universally accessible trail and an award-winning "green" nature center with exhibits and aquariums.
Wellfleet Cultural District
Galleries, shops, restaurants, and gardens.
Provincetown
Provincetown is at the tip of Cape Cod, about 20 minutes from Wellfleet. Tons of galleries, restaurants, cabarets and specialty shops are clustered on and around Commercial Street, and the ferry from Boston drops off in the center. A favorite place for lunch and a day trip in the Connolly family.
PB Boulangerie Bistro
A favorite of many Wellfleet visitors, including the mother of the groom. Great for lunch or pastires and coffee.

Great food with GF fried seafood options and excellent daily seafood. (Bride’s absolute favorite!)

Charming used book store, perfect for beach reads and unique finds from decades of Wellfleet beach vacations. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore and beautiful climbing roses outside.

For those that like wine, the vineyard is a nice place for a glass with lovely views, tours, and food truck on site.
