Technically, Ryan and I already knew of each other through a mutual friend (shoutout to the best man btw) and the fact that we worked together at the time (IYKYK). But it wasn’t until that one typical college party that things started to shift. It was your typical house party, the kind where everyone’s there, someone’s leading a game of flip cup, and "Imma Be" is on repeat (per my request) Feeling a little extra, I decided to introduce myself as Samantha (still not sure why I decided this). No plan, just a spur-of-the-moment, “this will be fun” choice. What I didn’t expect was that “Samantha” would get to talk to Ryan that night and I would find my future husband. Fast forward to Summer 2022. Ryan asked me to hang out, and I assumed it was definitely not a date. Spoiler alert: It was totally a date and I completely butchered it. But Ryan didn’t run for the hills. He asked me out again... The second time? Everything just clicked. It was easy, fun, and like we’d been doing it forever. From that point on, we were basically inseparable. Texting nonstop, making plans without thinking twice, and realizing we had something too good to let go of. So here we are, no fake names, no awkward first dates (okay, maybe just one), just two people who figured it out and never looked back. And now, we can’t wait to celebrate it all with you!
