Is there a dress code?

Cocktail attire, dressy casual --- We just want to celebrate with everyone!!! Please come as you are!!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 3:30. Allow yourself time to park and be seated before the ceremony begins, about 15-20 minutes prior. If you are traveling from the Myrtle Beach area to the venue you may encounter a delay crossing Socastee Swing Bridge, this would only be if the bridge opens to allow boat traffic through.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a gravel parking lot. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are at the same venue. The venue does allow overnight parking if needed. We want everyone to have a great time but be safe and responsible. If you need to leave your vehicle overnight we will have someone that can help get it the next morning.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation is not provided. Uber is very easy to get in our area.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have listed some hotels on the travel section of our website. If you are traveling with a group there are also houses and condos that sleep multiple so the cost could be shared. Let us know if you have questions about areas the places are located. thehoulewedding@gmail.com

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation

Yes! Whether you plan to attend or not we will need you to RSVP by the date specified on the invitation.
