The day we met is permanently engraved in our brains. It was the day everyone was moving into the dorms at Maryville College in August 2014. Kasey was bumping around introducing herself to people and popped her head into a dorm with 3 basketball players. She saw Ryan and thought "dang that boy is fine", but went along with her day. Hardly any words were spoken to each other that year. Then in 2015, they both transferred to the University of Tennessee, and they ran into each other a few times on campus that year, but thought nothing of it. Then in Fall 2016, they ran into each other at a house party. Ryan was with his friends. Kasey was with her friends. They exchanged a few words, then about a week later Kasey was bored, studying on a Thursday night. She texted Ryan asking if he wanted to hang out. They hung out over Accounting homework and pink Moscato. Kasey called her best friend the next day and mentioned that he was something special. That was almost 9 years ago today, and they have been together ever since.
