Question

What are the dates of the trip?

Answer

Sunday, February 16th to either Sunday the 23rd or Monday the 24th BUT we see that airfare is very expensive from Sunday to Sunday. Please consider alternative day's if this fits your budget better. (Bride and Groom and some of the wedding party may be planning their trip from Monday the 17th to Monday the 24th, I will post here once we purchase airfare) Please keep in mind if you are in the wedding party there will be afternoon Rehearsal on Thursday, Feb 20th.

Question

St. Thomas Airport? Direct flights? Time to Buy?

Answer

STT is the airport code (Saint Thomas Cyril E King is the airport). Unfortunately there are no direct flights. But all lay overs are usually short! Time to buy varies per person. Please plan what works for you, we are so happy you want to join us!

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

U.S. citizens traveling from the United States do not need a passport to travel to St. Thomas or St. John. However, if you would like to join the boat day to the British Virgin Islands you would need a passport for that!

Question

Where to stay?

Answer

Please see the Accommodations tab for more info.

Question

Do I need a rental car?

Answer

St. Thomas is a small island and the roads are filled with hills and turns. Ryan and I have drove the island ourselves (always an experience) but it may be easier for you and your group to Taxi. Keep in mind they do drive on the LEFT side of the road. We would recommend checking rental prices through Costco (usually the cheapest). If you decide the taxis route you will typically pay $5+ per person, per ride, depending on distance.

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

- Passport ( ONLY if you’d like to join us on the Boat Day) - Casual island wear (clothes that will be comfortable in 80 degree weather) - Island Fancy attire for the wedding - Bathing suits, beach towel - Backpack, Beach Tote - SUN SCREEN - License, cash, credit cards, all that jazz
