We met on a 3 week mission trip, Operation Barnabas, in 2017. We were just merely acquaintances...until a year later! The summer of 2018 we met up at Momentum Youth Conference with some other members of our OB team to catch up and have lunch. We kept in touch from that day forward! Later that year in September, some of us met up again in Ohio for a weekend to hang out. That weekend that our friendship truly bloomed into something more. For the rest of that year, we spent many evenings FaceTiming for hours on end just getting to know each other better. We discovered many unique things about each other, we even realized that we both accepted Jesus on the same day and the same place, just on opposite sides of the room! (7/27/2016- Momentum YC) Spending time together just felt so natural, we felt free to be our goofiest selves, to share our testimonies, and be truly honest. Our love for one another kept growing as the year went on, and then, finally, we started dating on August 23, 2019! Our love for Christ and each other continued grow stronger and stronger, and, with help from some amazing mentors, we truly learned what it means to live for Christ and to love each other as God commands. We soon realized that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together, honoring God above all things and serving others in love. And so the rest of our lives begin!

Tyler asked Ryah to be his wife on March 12, 2021. The evening started at the home of Bob and Kerry Mason, whom they love very much! Bob and Kerry invited them and some of their closest friends over for dinner as a way to celebrate the end of the school session, little did Ryah know there was a bigger plan at hand! Before dinner started, Alex Mason suggested that a group picture be taken down by the lake, so off they went! After the picture was taken, Tyler pulled Ryah aside and he said, "Hey, I love you so very much. I have a really serious question to ask you". He then got down on one knee and said "Will you be my wife?". Ryah SCREAMED at the top of her lungs in excitement and said "Are you kidding me????" Tyler of course responded "No!" Ryah ran to Tyler's arms and she said... YES!!!!!
