Dressy Casual (somewhere between no jeans and no tuxes). We are planning on an outdoor ceremony with a small walk to the ceremony, so feel free to wear something breathable and comfortable!

Yes, of course! We're planning to have a mix of things to do at our wedding for people of all ages. Please include your kids in your RSVP!
Our ceremony will be held outdoors, weather-permitting. The reception will be primarily indoors, but we're hoping to incorporate some outdoor elements during the reception as well. Part of the reason we chose to have our wedding in Ely was for its natural beauty, and we'd like our guests to experience as much of that as they can while they're here to celebrate with us!
We do have a room block set up at the Grand Ely Lodge, which is where we will be having both our ceremony and reception. However, this is the busiest time of year for Ely and there are only a limited number of rooms available in the block at the resort. In case all the rooms in our block are all taken, there are still several other lodging options in and around the Ely area including hotels, motels, cabins, and AirBnB's. We've listed some (but not all) under the travel tab in our wedding website!
During the ceremony we ask that you keep your phones away. After the ceremony we encourage you to capture the night! We will have a QR code for you to submit your photos to!
We will be providing a buffet style dinner with several entree and side options for our guests, so there's no need to make a selection ahead of time! We're still finalizing the entree/side options, but once we have that sorted out we will update the website so you can see what will be offered. Stay tuned!
