We will be rooted in God and in each other. We promise to give each other flowers from the garden of our lives even if it leaves it empty.To give more of ourselves than we'll ever get. To offer what blooms in our chests, even when the soil feels barren, even when the petals and leaves fall too soon. We promise to respect each other's strengths and weaknesses. If I grow in the sun, and my partner does not, I will not force them out of the shade, but rather meet them in the middle. I will learn how to care for my partner, and they will learn how to care for me. How much to water each other's garden, how much attention to give, what we need in our ecosystem to thrive. If there are obstacles, our roots will work together to adapt. Our garden has everything it needs to grow and thrive. We will be steadfast in our roots. We will share resources and draw from the same soil. We will tend to our garden regularly, make sure it has the water it needs to grow and the right nourishment to flourish. Our roots will forever be intertwined.
