Things to Do

The Wedding Website of Vanessa Rutigliano and Travis Schmidt
We are so excited to be hosting friends and family for our wedding. For those traveling from outside the area, below are a few places we really enjoy and recommend!

Philadelphia Museum of Art

2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130
, (215) 763-8100

One of our most memorable dates: the first time we had been to Philadelphia together. The Art Museum is an iconic part of Philadelphia. If you are visiting the city, you cannot miss this one.

The King of Prussia Mall

160 North Gulph Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406
, (610) 265-5727

Right next door to our venue, the King of Prussia Mall is a (very) large shopping center to explore and shop!

Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania

100 East Northwestern Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118
, (215) 247-5777

Old City

Philadelphia, PA

Defined by its iconic Georgian and Federal buildings, Old City is a historic hub with the "oldest street in America." Walking along the cobblestone streets in the fall is a fun date by itself, let alone the many restaurants, boutiques, and theatres in the district.

Valley Forge National Historical Park

1400 North Outer Line Drive, King of Prussia, PA 19406
, (610) 783-1077

Speaking from experience, this is a great place to spend an afternoon for a picnic or a easygoing hike/walk!

Longwood Gardens

1001 Longwood Road, Kennett Square, PA 19348
, (610) 388-1000

An incredibly popular place to explore nature, horticulture, and the performing arts.

Terhune Orchards

330 Cold Soil Road, Princeton, NJ 08540
, (609) 924-2310

It will be apple picking season! This was our first date, so it is especially sentimental for us. Their apple cider donuts are a great choice!
