Answer

Please RSVP no later than July 31st using the link on your formal invitation or by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Traditionally, our culture avoids the color black to the religious wedding ceremony. However, black suits for men are an acceptable attire. Black color attire is acceptable at other events as well.

Question

What is typical traditional wedding attire?

Answer

For Women: Women typically wear colorful saris, lehengas, or kurta sets. Look for rich colors, intricate embroidery, and beautiful fabrics. Bright colors like deep pinks, royal blues, emerald greens, and warm oranges are popular, and jewel tones are a favorite! For Men: Men often wear kurtas or sherwanis with a pair of churidar (fitted trousers) or loose, comfortable pants. Kurtas are knee-length, collarless shirts that come in a range of colors and designs. If you’re looking for something more formal, a sherwani—a fitted, often embroidered jacket—can be a great option. If you're unable to procure traditional attire, formal Western attire, like a suit or cocktail dress, would also be acceptable. Don't be afraid to ask someone for help when it comes to getting ready!
