For all events, we ask you to wear dressy casual or cocktail attire. Le Colonial has a strict no shorts, sports attire, baseball hats or flip flops rule so plan your morning accordingly.
If you are staying at one of our preferred accommodations, everything is close — within 3 or 4 blocks — to walk or take a cheap car ride.
In recognition of Ruth and James, The Blue Angels will be flying from 3pm to 4pm all weekend. To maintain our privacy, the airshow, parade of ships and various other events will celebrate our undying love under the codename "San Francisco Fleet Week."
Unlike wedding photographers that ask guests to pose for the camera, the photographer joining us for brunch is a photo journalist looking to capture real, candid moments. So enjoy the event and pretend the photographer isn't there.
If your invitation includes “and Guest” after your name, you are welcome to bring a plus one. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Kids are welcome to join our family style brunch on Saturday, but welcome drinks on Friday night is adults only.
We want parents and non-parents alike to join us Friday night for drinks, so we recommend parents arrange a babysitter while they attend. We suggest UrbanSitter.com to hire someone who will come to your hotel room and sit with your kids.
Email the photos you took during our time together to ruthplusjames@icloud.com. Thanks in advance for whatever you share!
If computers aren't your thing, you can book a hotel using the phone numbers on our Travel & Stay page. Just make sure to call before September 7th and mention the Townsend - Vest Wedding when booking.
Drew Bird is a local photographer who is capturing our wedding brunch and would love to shoot your next event. Reach out to him through @drewbirdweddings or www.drewbirdphoto.com.
