Maid of Honor
Ruthie and Mia met during Orientation week at Mount Allison. They shared their first apartment together with Emily and the three became inseparable ever since. In graduate school they travelled numerous times between Ottawa (where Mia pursued her JD) to Kingston. Fun fact: Mia is from Hanoi, Vietnam and lived briefly in Laos before moving to Charlottetown, PEI. Mia loves to travel and is working as a corporate lawyer in downtown Ottawa.
Maid of Honor
Ruthie and Emily met during Orientation week at Mount Allison. They shared their first apartment together with Mia and the three became inseparable ever since. The pair conducted their Honour’s Thesis projects in the same lab; waking up at 8am to conduct their studies with lab rats! After graduating, Emily pursued a M.A in Community Psychology and the pair traveled back and forth from Waterloo to Kingston to spend time together. In 2025 they travelled to Cuba followed by a trip to Portugal in 2026! Fun fact: Emily was adopted from China as a baby and grew up in Charlottetown, PEI. Emily loves adventures, food, and reading. Emily is working in Waterloo/Toronto.
Bridesmaid
Ruthie and Meg met in residence where lived together for two years before moving into the same apartment building. After graduating, they travelled throughout New England together with their close friends. Meg also visited Ruthie in Kingston twice and the pair travelled to Italy together in 2024! Fun Fact: Meg is from Filipines and immigrated to Moncton, NB at eight-years old. Meg is a talented artist, child educator and homemaker. Meg is working as a Medical Technician’s Assistant in Moncton.
Best Man
Graeme was five when he met Findley. Graeme was initially promised a new playmate and instead received as he so warmly refers to his baby brother... “a potato”, cute but unable to play fire fighters with him. Despite their age gap, the two have grown incredibly close, sharing a love of History, Temagami, and Forest Firefighting amongst many other things. There’s no one else better prepared to stand next to Graeme on his big day. Fun fact: Findley is an excellent curler, canoer, camper and skiier. Contact Findley for all your wilderness questions and concerns. Findley is a trained conservation officer, qualified to use a chainsaw and is currently a forest fire ranger in Sudbury, ON.
Best Man
Graeme met Simon while playing minor hockey together in Sudbury. During a drive home after practice, twelve year-old Graeme discovered Simon shared his love of dinosaurs declaring him “cool”. The two remained best friends throughout middle, high school and undergrad where they embarked on a new adventure together playing football in the maritimes. Fun facts: Simon is from Sudbury, ON. Growing up he was a competitive downhill skiier and one of the last people to visit Russia before the Canadian travel ban. He works as a Civil Lawyer in Sudbury.
Best Man
Graeme and Aidan met during Mounties training camp in 2017. They quickly became friends and lived together in their final year at Mount Allison. The spent more time together while Graeme studied and Aidan worked in Toronto. Graeme and Aidan enjoying drinking beer, golfing, analyzing football and discussing politics. Yet, Aidan O’Neal’s stance on dinosaur’s remains unknown. Fun facts: Aidan is from Sackville, NB. He played football on Team Canada and as a receiver for the Mount Allison Mounties and Queen’s Gael’s. Aidan is an asset manager in downtown Toronto.
Best Man
Graeme’s mother Lynn and Chris’s mom Corrine are childhood best friends. As such, Graeme and Chris have known each other since birth. The two attended canoe camp together as kids and rekindled their friendship while Graeme studied and Chris worked as a paramedic in downtown Toronto. Fun fact: Chris was born in the UAE and grew up in Ottawa. He is naturally adventureous and has travelled to X countries. He works as a paramedic for Toronto’s SWAT team.
