Attending virtually? Read here!

Answer

To join us via Zoom, go to the "schedule" page and click the link under "virtual ceremony". Please enter with your microphone muted! The meeting may prompt you for a password- the password is "wedding". We are looking forward to celebrating with all of you!

What about COVID?

Answer

Your safety is our number one priority! If you are attending in person, please bring a mask to wear anytime you are not seated at your assigned table. Tables will be dismissed one at a time for the buffet line at dinner. If you would prefer not to attend in person, please refer to the next question for info on attending virtually.

What if I would like to attend virtually?

Answer

If you are unable to attend in person, but would still like to view our ceremony, please RSVP to our virtual event instead. We will be happy to see you online and will celebrate with you in person at a later date!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. Cocktail dresses for ladies and button up shirts for men. If you’d like to wear your New Year’s best, feel free to dress festively!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30. Please give yourself enough time to arrive and be seated before then.

Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will be held indoors.

What is the schedule for the evening?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30. Directly after, family will join the bride and groom for photos while other guests may enjoy a cocktails and light appetizers. The reception will begin at approximately 5:30, with dinner at 6:00 and dancing until the evening ends. Additionally, a photobooth will be provided between 5:30 and 8:30 PM.

Answer

There will be snacks provided during cocktail hour, along with a buffet style dinner served at 6:00 PM.

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, do I need to make a special request?

Answer

If you have a food allergy or require a vegetarian or vegan meal, please let us know on the RSVP page.

Please RSVP by Saturday, December 19th.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Check the “travel” tab for a link to our host hotel. Using the link provided will give you a discount.

I am traveling from the Atlanta airport, what is the distance to the hotel/ceremony?

Answer

If you are traveling from the Atlanta airport, it will take you approximately 35 minutes to reach the hotel in light traffic. The drive from the hotel to the venue will take approximately 12 minutes.

Will transportation be provided from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

No transportation will be provided. Please plan accordingly. There is plenty of free parking within a minutes walk of the venue.

Is there parking?

Answer

There is ample parking free of charge on Main St, directly across from the Conservatory. You may also find free parking directly behind the Conservatory at City Hall. Other close locations with free parking include the public library, Regions bank, the Post Office, and the open lot on the corner of Main and Willis St. Please refer to the photo at the top of the page that highlights nearby parking lots.

Can I take and post pictures on social media or online?

Answer

Please respect that the ceremony will be phone and camera free. Our fantastic photographers will be capturing the magic! If you have photos of the reception to share, please use the hashtag #rutherford21 so we can see!

I RSVP.'d, but now I (or someone close to me) am sick. What do I do?

Answer

Please do not attend in person if you or anyone close to you is ill or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. You may absolutely change your RSVP response, even at the last minute, if that is the case.
