Our story began June 14, 2025 when we met at a mutual friend’s birthday dinner. We didn’t speak the whole dinner & afterwards, Ruthann invited everyone over for a game night. Apparently, when Ruthann gave Harrison a handshake to end the night, that was considered flirting. Our fairy godfather, Khalil, left the house to ask Harrison if he would be interested in Ruthann after meeting her that night. The next day, Ruthann received a message from Harrison asking her out on a coffee date. To which, she left him hanging for a an answer for a couple of hours (she had to do research on this man). About a week later, they had their first date at Ruthann’s favorite Thai restaurant & took a post-dinner walk at a park. Since then, Ruthann & Harrison have eaten a lot of Asian food, enjoyed cooking meals together, planned adventurous roadtrips, served alongside one another at each others churches, gone on many more walks, & are now looking forward to getting married!
