Like many modern love stories, Ruth and Zack met on a dating app (thanks, Hinge!). What started as lighthearted banter quickly turned into late-night conversations where time seemed to disappear. From the beginning, there was a feeling that this was something different. Their first date was a memorable one: a tennis match in 90-degree heat (a bold choice for a ginger), followed by getting lost in the maze that is Cheesecake Factory. Not long after, they took a spontaneous 16-hour day trip to the North Shore, where, surrounded by crisp autumn air and colorful leaves, they fell in love! After a year and a half together, Ruth and Zack reached a difficult crossroads that ultimately led them to make the painful decision to let each other go. As heartbreaking as it was, that wasn't the end of their story. What felt like the end was actually where God began writing something deeper. During that time, both drew closer to Jesus, and in His kindness, He used that season to grow, heal, and prepare them for what was ahead. Then, in the winter of 2025, God brought them back to each other :). Now, with Christ at the center of their relationship, their love is richer, steadier, and sweeter than before. Their story is a testament to God's faithfulness and the beautiful ways He makes all things new.
