The hotel has two pools, excellent breakfast, and is a 5-10 minute drive from the wedding venue and from the beach. We will also be hosting a welcome happy hour at the hotel on Thursday! The Motto is less than a 5 minute walk to the Kimpton hotel where we will be staying, is part of the Hilton collection, has an amazing rooftop pool and gym, along with several restaurants and a shopping center within the complex. The rooms are simple and smaller than the Kimpton hotel, but this is a great budget conscious choice for guests as well!

For those that want to stay right on the beach, Dune is a great option! It boasts excellent AC for guests, clean and spacious rooms, and a friendly staff. It is only minutes away from the wedding venue as well!

Having stayed here before, we can vouch that the direct beach access, rooftop pool, two restaurants on site, and welcome drink on arrival make Hotelito Azul an awesome place to stay for those that want to be right on the beach! Like Dune, Hotelito Azul is also only minutes away from our wedding venue on Friday!

Cenote Calavera ("Temple of Doom") A favorite for thrill-seekers: features a ladder, rope swing, and small drop-in holes you can jump through into a deep, skull-shaped cavern. Great for free diving and underwater photography. Gran Cenote One of the most iconic cenotes near Tulum with crystal-clear water, ideal for snorkeling among turtles and stalactites. Well-developed but still feels wild. Cenote Dos Ojos Part of the world's largest underwater cave system (Sistema Sac Actun). Perfect for adventurous snorkelers and certified cave divers. Tulum Archaeological Zone (Tulum Ruins) A cliffside Mayan city with ocean views; hike through ancient temples, the Castillo, and down to a hidden beach. Combine history with a swim at the base of the ruins. Cenote Taak Bi Ha A hidden underground cenote near Dos Ojos, lesser-known but stunning, with cathedral-like chambers and deep blue pools. Best for explorers who want a less commercial experience. Coba Ruins Deep in the jungle, this ancient Mayan city features the Nohoch Mul pyramid, one of the tallest in the Yucatán. Rent bikes to explore the vast ruins trail-style. Cenote Car Wash (Aktun Ha) Looks like a pond but opens into a magical cavern with aquatic plants, fish, and the chance to scuba dive. Great for both beginner snorkelers and divers. Sian Ka’an Biosphere & Muyil Ruins Explore the lesser-visited Muyil site, then float down ancient Mayan canals in the UNESCO-protected Sian Ka’an reserve. Offers an unbeatable mix of culture and eco-adventure. Cenote Zacil-Ha A family-friendly, open-air cenote with zip-line jumps, surrounded by jungle. Affordable, fun, and refreshingly low-key. Cenote Angelita A surreal dive site famous for its underwater hydrogen sulfide “cloud” at 30m depth. For experienced scuba divers seeking a dreamlike descent.
