Located in Foshay tower, Keys cafe is home of the Loon Omelet, which was Mark's first introduction to Minnesota wild rice, and is now his favorite omelet.
We purposely scheduled our date to coincide with the Fair! Ruthie's dad (Mike) has taken her every year since her childhood and we are excited to bring Mark in on the tradition. The Minnesota State fair is happening from August 22nd-September 2nd, we strongly recommend checking it out if you are in the area and like food, butter sculptures, or general fun
Maybe Minnesota's only claim to fame, the Mall of America is around ten minutes from the airport, and 15-20 from the venue.
The Minnesota zoo is about a 30 minute drive from our venue. Mark is a zoo enthusiast, making sure to visit as many zoos as possible on his work travels. He was pleasantly surprised with the Minnesota zoo! We have been several times now and have the souvenir cups to prove it.
10-15 minutes from our venue and free! The como zoo is smaller than the Minnesota zoo, but it also features the como conservatory gardens, which are definitely worth seeing.
