We have included the names of any children invited on your invitation. When you go to RSVP, you can type in your last name- and first names of any children invited will be available to check mark. If they are not listed by name, or your envelope is addressed to "Mr. and Mrs." we invite you to leave your little ones at home. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
Wedding invitations that include a "plus one" will indicate so, or include the name of the additional guest. Due to a large extended family, we are unable to accommodate each guest to bring a plus- one. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
We are elated to have our family and friends witness this sacrament and to share our faith with you. Our wedding ceremony will include a full, four part Catholic mass. The Introductory Rite, Liturgy of the Word, Liturgy of the Eucharist, and Concluding Rites, with the addition of the "Rite of Marriage" right after the homily. It will be about an hour and fifteen minutes in length. As Catholics, we believe that at the sacrifice of the mass, we receive Jesus' body, blood, soul, and divinity. To respect this sanctity, all welcome guests who do not share the Catholic faith are kindly asked to come to the priests line for communion, and cross your arms over your chest for a blessing. Or, you may stay seated or kneel for communion.
No. We have invested in a professional Catholic wedding photographer to capture the beauty of this sacrament. To respect the sanctity of the mass, and enjoy the moment, we request that you do not take any pictures. Please power off phones before entering the church.
Absolutely! We invite all guests to take as many pictures during our reception as they wish. There will also be disposable cameras placed at each table and we ask our guests to use those as well as their own devices.
There is plenty of parking available at both St. Catharine Church (ceremony) and Watersedge Conference and Event Center (reception).
There are three hotels nearby that our venue has recommended for guests to stay at. We have booked hotel blocks with Townplace Suites, and Homewood Suites. You may call and book, or book online both with the code we provided. There are 10 room blocks for each hotel, and they are based on a first come-first serve basis. We encourage out-of-town guests to reserve their hotel rooms as soon as possible. We also encourage guests to book the room based on the people and accommodations needed. We have also included Embassy Suites as a recommendation, but do not have any hotel rooms blocked for that hotel. Every invitation will come with a QR code, and link to our wedding website. Once you receive your invitation, if you have a smartphone, open the camera app and scan the QR code. It will prompt to you our wedding website, where you can click on "RSVP." Type in your names and select your meal option. If you do not have a smartphone, or have any issues, please reach out to Jennifer Haines or Ann Heston and we will manually RSVP for you!
