Kala moved to Medicine Lodge, when she was 12 years old after growing up in Mississippi. Rusty had just moved back from California a year and half after his father passed away. The two kids STILL to this day argue over their meeting place Kala says it was the Teen Center. (Kala’s right!) Rusty says it was the pool.. wherever it might have been.. (The Teen Center) there was always something special between the two! Nothing! and I mean nothing could keep them apart. Rusty was a “BAD KID” and Kala unfortunately loved to follow!! The two shared their very first kiss under the big bush looking tree by the city park. When her brother came to pick her up she pretended she lost her phone and needed Rusty’s help finding it.. then she pulled rusty to the tree and LAID ONE ON HIM!! Fast forward many years with lots and lots of story’s to tell they bought their very first house together at the young age of 20 years old!! Two years later welcomed their beautiful baby girl Maddilyn Mae!! Two years after that and TEN YEARS OF DATING LATER!!
