Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
Lots! We hope you’ll join us for the Welcome Party Friday night and the After Party on Saturday. Please see the itinerary for more details! There will be a rehearsal dinner on the lawn Friday night for the wedding party and some family only. Other guests joining Friday are welcome to get dinner at the restaurant, and we’ll get to see you around the fire pit for s’mores at 7:30pm once the rehearsal dinner wraps up. We’ll all be together for the welcome party from 9-11pm, as well!

What should I know about getting there?

Please be aware there can be heavy traffic in the summer months in Boothbay/Southport and plan accordingly to get to Newagen before the 4:00pm ceremony. There is plenty of parking available.

What should I wear?
Answer
Cocktail attire. Our wedding colors are dusty terracotta and dusty blue, if you would like to avoid blending in with the bridal party.

How do I book a room at Newagen?
Answer
See the “Lodging at Newagen” section. We must hear from you before April 15th if you’re interested in staying with us at Newagen Seaside Inn. You cannot book a room directly before informing Rusty or Candace that you'd like to stay. The hotel will reach out to you if they are able to accommodate.

Am I allowed a plus-one?
Answer
Guests invited to the wedding will be named on your invitation. We cannot accommodate any additional guests.

Are there rooms available at Newagen?
Answer
Booking for rooms at Newagen were due a few weeks after our Save the Dates (and website link) went out, on April 15th. The Inn is now fully booked to accommodate our wedding party, family and close friends who expressed interest.

What are the guest room rates at Newagen?
Answer
The rates vary by room type. There is a 2 night minimum. Main Inn - $279 nightly Maine Inn Suites - $379 nightly Little Inn - $399 nightly Most of the rooms will be pre-assigned based on family, wedding party, any handicap accessibility needs and attempting to keep friends grouped together. If you have a preference, let Candace (or Rusty) know, and we can take it into consideration if possible. Candace can be reached by text 617-461-4098 and hates phone calls. :-) Rusty can be reached at 207-650-4206.

Do you have a hotel block? Where can we stay if we do not have a room at Newagen Seaside Inn?
Answer
We do not have a hotel block as we had over 30 rooms reserved for us at Newagen, and many of the options in nearby Boothbay are quaint inns versus larger hotels that would cater to hotel blocks for weddings. Some of our wedding guests are staying at the Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Resort or Boothbay Harbor Inn. There are many options around Boothbay although they book up fast for the summer months and may have a minimum night stay beyond 1 night, so inquire and book early if you need a room!
