We met on the second day of student orientation at Pacific Lutheran University and instantly became inseparable. By the first week of classes we were together, and since then we've been to eleven baseball games (been on the jumbotron twice!), lived in all three pacific coast states, and raised three cats.

Mark planned the proposal with Chloe's mom and stepmom. They spent a weekend at the Oregon coast, where the moms took them to their favorite lookout point in the woods and Mark dropped to one knee, ready to pop the question. He didn't get the chance. Chloe was so excited she tackled Mark before he could even ask, but Mark was pretty sure he knew what the answer was.
