Yes, it's a deli in a gas station, but it's one of the best sandwiches in town! Joe's Pick: The Earlysville: Sweet ham, golden turkey, bacon, smoked gouda, lettuce, tomato, and herb mayo on sourdough. Kat's Pick: Ednam: Maple turkey, bacon, havarti, avocado, lettuce, tomato, no mayo, sub honey mustard, on GF wrap.
Take It Away is Joe's #1 requested Charlottesville lunch. Walking distance from UVA Main Grounds and any of the hotels on W. Main. Joe's Pick: Virginia Ham and Turkey Combo on French w/ Swiss LTO + House Dressing (the dressing is the most important part!!) Kat's Pick: Smoked Turkey on GF w/ Asiago LTO + Brown Mustard

If you want more than just a bagel for breakfast, this is the spot. Belle makes the best breakfast sandwiches, donuts, and pastries from scratch every morning and has a great patio to grab a drink and a snack in the evenings. Joe's Pick: Breakfast Sandwich #2 - bacon, cheddar, folded egg, muffin Kat's Pick: Cinnamon Roll and Iced Coffee
Across the street from The Quirk Hotel, this is Kat and Joe's favorite breakfast spot. Great for breakfast burritos (+ drinks, if it's that kind of morning).
Aka "CD," this Tex-Mex spot is Kat and Joe's top pick for dinner. CD doesn't take reservations so best to get in early, but it's worth the wait. You only need one recc here, and it's the nachos + a margarita.
Funny name, great food! We love Bang! for small plates, cocktails, and plenty of GF options. Our Picks: Grilled Broccolini with Sesame Cashew Sauce, Grilled Local Mushrooms with Whipped Feta, and one of their 40+ martinis
This mountaintop orchard features spectacular views of Charlottesville and the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you're in town Thursday night, be sure to stop in for the Thursday Night Sunset Series.
Peaches will be in season in late June, so we recommend checking out Chiles Peach Orchard, especially if you have kids in town with you! Pick your own peaches and fresh peach ice cream are the specialties here.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, UVA's Main Grounds and Rotunda are worth a look if you haven't visited.
Monticello is the home of Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States and author of the Declaration of Independence.
Highland, formerly Ash Lawn–Highland, located adjacent to Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, was the estate of James Monroe, fifth President of the United States.
One of Charlottesville's best-known wineries for a reason. Pippin Hill has beautiful mountain views, great wines, and lots of outdoor seating, making it the perfect place to spend an afternoon.
Arguably the best mountain views of any winery in the Charlottesville area, and the wine's not too bad either!
One of the smaller wineries in the Charlottesville area, this one is a favorite for it's proximity to downtown and the dogs who hang out in the tasting room.
Another great Charlottesville winery, this is where Kat and Joe took their engagement photos. Pick up lunch at Greenwood Market on your way!
Check out Pro Re Nata for it's huge patio, great local beer, and expansive views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
