Where to Stay
Answer
Delano has only one hotel, The Grandstay Hotel & Suite, which has 54 rooms. Please book well in advance because there are limited backup options. We have blocked 15 rooms, 5 Kings and 10 Queens, under RussenHafftenWedding. Pricing ranges between $145 and $165 a night. Please contact them at 763-972-4303 to reserve. The cut-off for reservations under this block is August 10, 2025. If you need to look further out, we recommend the following options: AmericInn in Long Lake, MN; Budget Host Inn, Buffalo, MN; and Country Inn & Suites, Buffalo, MN.

What To Wear

We ask everyone to please dress in formal attire. The wedding colors are blue, white, silver, and gold. Women, if you want color suggestions: rose, blush, sage, butter yellow, green. Pastels will complement well. Men: Suits. No jeans.

Transportation

If you are staying at the Grand Stay in Delano, we have arranged transportation through the Stahlke Bus Company between the hotel and the venue from 3:45 p.m. until 4:15 p.m. and again from 9:00 p.m., running on demand until midnight. See the front desk at the hotel for assistance. If you plan on being the sober cab and driving to the venue, we can access public street parking and a parking lot half a block away at city hall. Need a cab? Call Cab Co-op at 763-568-4116. There are limited UBER/LYFT options unless you are willing to pay for someone from the cities to drive out. Do not rely on catching a ride share service unless pre-arranged. You are responsible for all other transportation needs. Please do not drink and drive; plan and be safe.

We will be hosting an open bar for beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks. All hard alcoholic drinks will be cash/credit only.

Cocktail hour will include appetizers, followed by dinner. The exact menu is still being developed. We are aware of most of our guests' dietary needs. If you have a specific dietary restriction, please indicate on your RSVP or contact Kali.

Wedding Registry/Gifts
Answer
Gifts are not a requirement. If you are inclined, please see the Registry tab on this website. Feel free to send the gift to our home address to cut down on transportation logistical issues: 4580 Magnolia Lane North, Plymouth, MN 55442. We will also have a secure location at the venue set up if you prefer to bring a gift/card to the venue.

The couple will take all of their formal photos before the ceremony. We are asking that everyone put away their cell phones, cameras, etc., for the ceremony. We have hired an amazing, talented photographer, Brett Dorrian, who will capture all of the magic of the full day. There will be a photo booth available at the reception/cocktail hour, and after the ceremony is over, anyone is welcome to take pictures of anything they desire.
