Moses H. Cone Memorial Park
Cruise the Blue Ridge Parkway, check out the overlooks along the way then visit this park near our venue. With so many great views and a range of different hikes to explore, this was one of our favorite places to visit when we lived in Boone. Our engagement photos were also taken here!
West King Street
Check out the Mast General Store, Lost Province pizza/brewing, Horton Hotel rooftop, Venture chocolate and wine bar, and the free summer concerts at The Jones House on friday evenings

fantastic coffee and donuts (russell loves the boston creme, melisa loves the lavender)
Glen Burney Falls Trail
This trailhead starts right in the heart of Blowing Rock, explore the cute walkable downtown and then head out on this 3 mile hike with several views of waterfalls
Booneshine Brewing Company
Great local brewery with indoor and outdoor seating and very tasty bites like flatbreads and soft pretzels
Stick Boy Kitchen
soups, sandwiches, bagels -- great lunch spot
The Cardinal
Delicious burgers, this place is a local favorite
