Worth the trip to this amazing secluded beach. (hint, research how to get to the "secret" waterfall).
Some closer beach destinations are Weir's Beach, Willows Beach and Witty's Lagoon

There is plenty of hiking spots around Victoria, most you can do in around an hour. Some popular spots are: Mount Douglas, Mount Finlayson (bear mountain side is easier), Mount Baldy (there is a swing up top!), Mount Wells and Mount Work.
