Say Hey to the Newest McClay!

Russell and Lynn tied the knot last December in a cozy winter micro-wedding. They're now excited to share the joy of this new chapter by celebrating with you all this summer. Join them for a newlyweds celebration, hosted by Brian and Sheila, to meet the newest McClay as Russell introduces Lynn as his wife to all his friends and family on the west coast. Though this event is focused on Russell's side of the family, they hope you'll get to meet Lynn's side of the family sometime in the future.

Nothing good ever happens after 2 am, except maybe finding your soulmate. On a fateful night in 2019, Lynn and Russell met at a party and hit it off right away. Their time together was so brief that Russell forgot to get Lynn’s phone number and the night slipped away. Normally, that would have been the end of it. Thankfully, the universe had other plans and they would unknowingly reunite three months later. This time, it was Lynn’s turn to forget something and that something was Russell’s face. After reintroducing themselves, the two decided there was something more to these chance encounters. While they had been forgetful with some important details, Lynn proved it was just a fluke as she quickly picked up the names of all 60 of Russell’s family members at a Christmas party. From their first date of walking the Golden Gate Bridge to making two-hour trips to visit each other, the two of them sparked a relationship that would go the distance. That distance totaled up to about 3,012 miles as Lynn (and, shortly after, Russell) moved across the country to Boston where he would be tasked with remembering the daunting number of six of Lynn's family members, which only took him a few tries.
