Question

I thought you guys were getting married on March 28th? And then December 19th? What's up with this new date?

Answer

Russell, both of our families, and I made the tough (but safe & logical) decision to postpone the wedding (twice, but who's counting?) due to COVID-19. Out of concern for our guests, vendors, and others, we did not want anyone to take the unnecessary (but well-intentioned) risk of attending our wedding on March 28th. Luckily, we still made it official, March 29th, in a small ceremony with close family & the three friends who were there the night we met. Now, we're ready to PARTY with all of you! We are so thankful for the love & support from everyone to make November 6th the celebration we truly envisioned -- full of love, hugging, laughing, and dancing (not at 6-feet apart).

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at 5:00 PM.

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

To allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation, we kindly ask for our wedding day to be an adult-only occasion. We love all of your children, but we hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire is semi-formal. We can't wait to see how incredible everyone looks!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Recommended hotels should all be within a quick walking- or ride-share- distance from our Venue, however, there is a pay-for-parking option at the Hearst Tower parking garage, which has entrances on Fifth and Sixth Street between North Tryon and College Streets.

Question

What's another parking option?

Answer

Guests can also utilize the 7th Street Station Parking Garage, located at 256 E 7th St, Charlotte, NC 28202. From the garage, it's a quick 5 minute walk to the venue. Guests should head down 6th street, cross College Street and then take a left at Tryon.
