Travel Note

Suggested travel itinerary to Iguazu

Easiest way to get to Iguazu from the US is to fly to Sao Paulo Brazil, and then take a connecting flight to Foz de Iguazu which gets you to the Brazil side. You will need to drive from Foz de Iguazu (Brazil side) to Puerto Iguazu (Argentina side). 45 minute drive to the Grand Hotel. You will need to cross the border. Be prepared for possible wait times at the border. Suggest arrival on Thursday August 27 (traveling overnight to Sao Paulo Wednesday night). Flavia and Russ will likely be on a United flight Newark to Sao Paulo on Wed Aug 26 at 830pm, arriving GRU 7:10am. There is a flight from Sao Paulo (GRU) to Foz de Iguacu (IGU) Thursday on LATAM airlines leaving 1220pm; arrival 2:05pm. If you are able to book this flight, van transportation can be provided. Please let us know if you are on this flight so we can include you on the van reservation. If you are on a different flight please let us know that so we can coordinate on van transportation. We will likely book the transportation once we have confirmations,
