Like so many people our age we met thanks to the internet. And after our first date at 1000 Figs, we knew there was something special between us. While our mutual love of podcasts initially brought us together, our appetite to explore the restaurants of New Orleans bound us together for good. Russell was finishing up his engineering degree at the University of New Orleans after deciding to leave his first love of restaurant industry. After finishing her OB/GYN residency, Erin moved back to New Orleans and was busy starting a new practice. During this time they learned about each other's interests and pushing each other to try new things. They love searching for alligators in Jean Lafitte National Park or hosting dinner parties for friends and family. Exploring the arts either by checking out the local theater scene or making their own masterpieces at Painting with a Twist became a shared passion. They've started traveling from Biloxi to Spain to the "End of of the World." Nowadays, they Revel hanging out on the front porch in their neighborhood of Bayou St John.
