Travel
Lodging is available on and off site. Skyland and Big Meadows both offer hotel rooms within the park. Most convenient towns will be Luray or Stanley to the north, or Elkton to the south.
Please note that there is a fee of $30 *per vehicle* for park entry, therefore carpooling is strongly recommended. An entry permit is good for 7 consecutive days, including the day of purchase.
For our friends travelling out of state, Washington-Dulles and Richmond International Airports are both just over a 2hr drive to the lodge. Charlottesville-Albemarle Regional (American, Delta, and United) and Shenandoah Regional (American only) airports will both be roughly an hour closer, but prices and flexibility may not be as good.
For all the days along the way
