Rebecca's best friend of 20+ years! Christine and Rebeca met through their parents who worked together at IBM in New York. Over the years they spent time together for football sunday parties, summer sleepovers, and just hanging out all the time. Christine's favorite memory with Rebecca: "One of my favorite memories is the summer we spent almost every day/night together at each other's houses. It really felt like I actually had a little sister for that summer. But of course you ARE my little sister!"

Erik Liang

Russell met Erik through his friend William over 15 years ago. They quickly bonded over their similar interests in video games that they played. Erik has been there to support Russell through the good times and the bad and even made a trip to Austin to celebrate Russell's 30th birthday as a combined birthday party since Erik's birthday is the day after Russell. Erik is a fun and reliable friend and Russell is so excited to have him standing next to him during such an important day.

Chanel is Russell's amazing sister and Rebecca has been so happy to get to know her over the years. Rebecca and Chanel share a love of crafts and board games. Whenever Rebecca and Russell discover a new fun board game they always get Chanel to play with them.

Adam Heyman

Adam is Rebecca's older brother and Russell has had a great time bonding over their mutual love of tech. Russell and Adam also love to share food recommendations (especially HEB) and chat about new tech stuff. Russell is so happy that Adam has had fun getting to know him and his family during big gathers for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Brianna Hubiera

Brianna and Rebecca met when Brianna came to Holy Family in the 6th grade. They bonded over their love of the Sims and from there, their friendship grew. Rebecca has always loved the energy Brianna brings to the room and is so excited that she will be a part of this special day! A favorite memory that Rebecca has with Brianna was going to anime conventions together. Both Brianna and Rebecca love to cosplay so they would dress up and go hang out together at conventions. Rebecca particularly remembers the time that Brianna's mom drove them to San Antonio for a convention and they watched the Bee Movie on the way there. Good times.

William Fuller

Russell met William online playing Garry's Mod over 15 years ago. Thanks to William, Russell not only has an amazing friend but has also met so many of his friends through him. William is a kind, supportive friend and Russell is so excited that he and the other guys are making the trip from California to attend his wedding. William's favorite memory with Russell: "One of my favorite memories with Russell has to be time he ordered me a pizza. Keep in mind, I live in Oxnard, California and not Austin, Texas. This is back in 2017. At the time my phone had flown out of my pocket when riding a rollercoaster(X2 at Six Flags Magic Mountain) and the local pizza place didn't have online ordering at the time. It was awkward trying to get the place to take and deliver the order since it was essentially a game of telephone trying to tell Russell my order who then had to relay it to whoever was on the other line. Looking back it sounded like a prank call even though it was a genuine order due to all the pauses and stuff. In the grand scheme of things it isn't a knee-slapper or anything but, I think it's very much on track for our group. Silly problems being solved in silly ways."

Cassandra Galindez

Cassandra and Rebecca are fairly new friends but when they met, Rebecca knew Cassandra would be a great friends because of their shared experiences and common interests. Over the months they have played games, gotten food, and started taking gymnastics classes together. Rebecca loves that Cassandra encourages her to try new things!

Darryl Tran

Russell had known about Darryl for many years before they actually met and became friends themselves. Erik introduced Russell and Darryl and they became good friends in 2020. When Covid hit, both Russell and Darryl started working from home. During those days they spent a lot of time in voice chat hanging out, co-working, and learning about their similar interests. From there, they became close friends. Darryl's Favorite Memory with Russell: "My favorite memory with Russell was back in 2024 when he flew out to San Jose to catch my movie screening premiere. He got pretty drunk at our afterparty (he's the giggly and huggy type) and used his phone to LiDAR scan our friends, Aaron and Mario."

Isabela Spielman

Rebecca and Isabela became friends while they were in school at Holy Family and stayed in touch even though Isabela went to a different high school. Isabela is one of those friends that you can always reach out to and Rebecca will always be greatful for that. Isabela's favorite memory with Rebecca: "Some of my favorite memories with Rebecca are just the silly things we would get up to when we hung out in middle school. From freaking out over Fruits Basket, to throwing plush whales and bacon around the room, to messing with creeps on the internet, there was never a dull moment when we hung out. I know she's always got my back, and I'm so happy to still call her my friend all these years later. <3" Honorable mention to Isabela's husband Garon since he is in the picture :)

Aaron Fillon

After Russell became good friends with Erik and William, Russell became more integrated into their friend group. Aaron and Russell got to know eachother well as they were playing Boarderlands 3 together. Over the years, many more games have been played and Aaron would even stream the New York Times crossword puzzles for everyone to do together. 10+ people doing the NYT crossword makes it a lot easier. Russell and Aaron have the kind of friendship where they have friendly banter at eachother and sometimes Russell makes funny photoshop edits of Aaron.

Azucena Enloe

Rebecca and Azucena met in school at Holy Family and became close in 4th grade. Together they figured out a fun way to jump rope with 2 people and 1 rope! They lost contact during high school but reconnected last year. Rebecca is so happy to have them back in her life and is so excited to have them standing by her side for such an important day! Azucena's favorite memory with Rebecca: "One time Rebecca and I decided to make snickerdoodles, because I'd never had one before and Rebecca said they were great. Somehow this resulted in one mega snickerdoodle the size of our faces instead of a bunch of normal snickerdoodle cookies. How we managed that? I'll never know."

Myles Tiller

Often referred to as "The Thunder God", you can find Myles playing one of three characters in any video game: Kratos (from God of War), Raiden (from Mortal Kombat), or a typical fantasy monk. Myles is a very reserved person and even though Russell does not know what his favorite color is, they are very close friends. Russell frequently receives paragraphs of text from Myles, theory crafting ideas about the games they play. Recently they have been playing the online game Dungeons and Dragons Online with Darryl and the three of them have so much fun.
