We're getting married!

Dennis and Megan met at the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium as teammates on the Salt Water animal care team. You would never guess they would end up falling in love based on their first interactions together. The first time Dennis got Megan to talk to him was during food prep one morning after they had been teammates for almost a year, and the conversation went like this... Dennis: "Yea I went out to the movies with my friends this weekend and saw the new Godzilla it was so awesome!" Megan: "Do you like going to the movies?" Dennis: (Shock clearly on his face that Megan had finally engaged him in conversation) "Yes I love going to the movies! Do you like the movies too?" He was really hoping she would say yes and he might get to ask her to go to the movies. Megan: "No." Dennis: "....Ummm well is there anything on TV you like to watch?" Megan: "No." Dennis: "Well what do you like to do for fun Megan?" Megan: "Eat and sleep." And then she quickly left the room. Dennis didn't see this as a loss though because Megan had finally talked to him, and that alone made him happy despite being shot down so effectively. Eventually Megan and Dennis grew closer working the same shift schedule together. They dove the shark tank together, rebuilt exhibits together, even helped tube feed a sick shark together. And one fateful night Megan invited Dennis to go out star gazing. They sat outside under a sky full of stars and watched the moon rise and then start to go down again, and they talked to each other for hours. And it would be the first date of many to come that brought Dennis and Megan happily together.

Upon beginning their relationship Dennis & Megan instantly knew each other was "the one." The couple quickly moved in together with Megan's elderly cat, Miss Blue. For their one year anniversary they adopted a tiny psychotic puppy named Rey. With Rey's adoption Dennis & Megan made a promise they'd have to be together for the rest of Rey's life-it wouldn't be fair to Rey for her parents to split! With Miss Blue's passing Megan tricked Dennis into adopting Finn, prolonging their agreed upon relationship. Wanting to be able to provide for the fur babies & any future actual babies, Dennis left the aquarium to pursue a career in aviation. The family moved north so Dennis could attend ATP flight school to become a commercial airline pilot. He is currently lead flight instructor of the program while Megan still works at the aquarium as an aquarist.

Dennis has signed on with Skywest & starts this October. The couple looks forward to settling down, buying a home & starting a family.
