What should I wear?

Semi-formal/cocktail attire! We want our guests to be as comfortable as possible while still looking great in photos!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It should be fairly warm during the day, but can get chilly in the evening. Bring a light jacket or sweater along!

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on The Rushing's farm at the creek. One of Courtney's favorite spots growing up. The reception will take place in the barn area of the farm.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving appetizers and beverages.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Cell phone reception is spotty and unreliable up on the farm. We recommend entering the address well before getting to Selah. There will be signs along the road and at the entrance to the driveway guiding you to the farm and directing you to the parking area.

Do you have a hotel block of rooms?

Answer

We do! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Yakima. Please see our "Travel" page for more info.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Can I take and post pictures and post them on social media?

Answer

We will be holding an "unplugged ceremony" and ask that you all respect our wishes in having all cell phones and cameras put away during this time. Once the ceremony is over, we would love for you to take and post as many photos of the celebration as you'd like.
