Our favorite Indian food in Philly.
Considered one of the best cheesesteaks in the city. There will be a line, but it's worth it. Cash only. Order it on a seeded roll, with onions and cheese whiz.
Our favorite cheesesteak spot. The whiz is truffle-infused.

The bar that inspired Always Sunny in Philadelphia is Mac's Tavern. Grab ice cream from Franklin's Fountain and stop next door for chocolate.
One of the nation's oldest and most successful public markets, Reading Terminal (pronounced Redding) has more than 75 small businesses with an array of fresh and prepared foods, lunch counters, and places to eat and shop. Best for lunch, and closes at 6 p.m.
The oldest open-air market in the country, South Philadelphia's 9th Street Italian Market was established in the late 1800's by Southern Italian immigrants. Walk through and feel transported back in time. There are also some great Mexican restaurants nearby, like Blue Corn and South Philly Barbacoa, which was featured on Chef's Table.
A lovely farmer’s market on Saturday mornings.
