The couple met via the good ol dating app. RJ says it was Courtney's eyes but surely it was the piece of ammo box in the corner of the picture that caught his eye. Courtney says it was RJ's big smile and sweetly squinted eyes that made her swipe right.

While on a weekend trip visiting family, RJ asked Courtney to find a fun hike for them to do on their last day! Unsuspecting Courtney looked around for trails that weren't buried in snow still. Finding a couple they made a plan to hit the trail on their way out of town. Unfortunately, the weather decided that it was not the day for a hike to the proposal. RJ disappointedly revealed his ruined plans but excitedly proposed on the spot. He said that he had been planning it for too long and he didn't want to wait any longer even it meant not getting the most romantic of proposals.

Excited to be married and more of a simple couple, Courtney and RJ plan to be married with just their immediate family in tow. They are excited to celebrate with their friends and family in June!
