We met in middle school and were friends all through high school! I would have never thought that our paths would ever cross again but then they did in May of 2019. We saw each other randomly at the M Resort and decided to make plans and meet up that weekend. The plan was to meet up at a concert but of course I was late to the meet up and missed him the first time. Finally getting the chance to meet up with him and a group of friends we spent the entire concert weekend together and almost every other night the next month. On our first official date I made the poor guy go to Olive Garden (which we never did again) and also an Aviators game which we left early because of how cold it was! We finally started officially dating in July of 2019 and the rest is history!

The day was finally here, our favorite port with the most anticipated planned excursion of our trip! We got dressed and headed down to get off the boat in Naples, Italy, we were all so excited and had been planning this day since April with the company and I had no idea that it would be the most memorable day in both of our lives. We finally found the marina and got on our chartered boat for the day and was welcomed with champagne! We headed out of the marina and off to the Island of Capri, Italy where we docked and were able to get off to eat and shop. Next stop was the Amalfi Coast but I had no idea of the beauty that we would see in between. We crossed through the Natural Arches of Naples and drove the coastline which was breathtaking. Nick was adamant that we take pictures before we jumped in the water and I remember being so confused because we passed by so many beautiful coves and caves to jump in and swim but we continued on. We finally get to the Amalfi Coast and the captain positioned the boat perfectly so that you could see the coast in all of our photos, and we did just that! We took family photos and then couple photos which is when Nick told me to turn around, I was so distracted by the beauty of the city and all the boats in the bay that I was in complete shock when I turned back around to see him on his knee. I said YES in front of the beautiful city of Positano, Italy!
