We met in medical school and the first thing that grabbed my attention were these baby blue pants he would wear because his best asset (pun intended) looked amazing in them! Eventually, we began talking more and frequently found ourselves challenging each other to ping-pong games in between lectures. I kicked Andrew's butt every single time, but he now claims it was all a scheme to get me to go out with him. It took weeks before he actually asked me to dinner. However, when he did ask I had just finished eating dinner at my apartment, which led to me not ordering anything to eat - it made for a rather awkward "first date." Fast forward a few weeks and I was home for Christmas break. I was catching up with my old friend Chasity when she wanted to know all the details about this potential new guy in my life. I had an honest conversation with her that went something like this, "Ugh I don't know. I like him but I don't know if I want a relationship right now. He's fun to be around, but he's kind of small and I'm afraid I could break his arms. But he's a runner so he has a really nice butt!" As soon as I finished my private monologue I heard a beep. I looked down and realized I had sent a voice recording of my entire conversation to you guessed it - Andrew! It was that moment that I found out just how much I actually cared about him because the thought of him never talking to me again made my heart sink. Luckily, that was not the case because on January 6th he FINALLY asked me to be his girlfriend and the rest is history! Note: Andrew did not approve of the small arm comment, however moments later said "meh it's true" therefore it made the story.
